Unique Lamps & Light Fixtures
What started as a hobby, has become a successful line of products
I’ve always designed lighting layouts from trade show booths to office spaces to retail experiences, using 3D modeling as a medium to visualize it, I thought why not make my ideas physical and make my own products. With help from Bambu Lab in the form of collaborations and sponsorships, I was able to take this dream from idea to reality.
Joey Lopez Design lighting products are currently available on Amazon, Etsy, and TikTok Shop.

Unique Timeless Designs
I wanted to design light fixtures that appeared to be contemporary during a design period of a bygone era, incorporating Memphis, Art Deco, Mid-Century, and Space Age Futurism aesthetics, these 3D Printed works could not exist at any other time than now, but I wanted them to appear classic, vintage, and antique in feeling. Somehow familiar and comfortable, yet conspicuous enough to make you stop and look closer.
Accessible by all
One of my best selling designs, the COLUMN lamp, is accessible by all in price. Though it was not designed to compete with commoditized mass-produced products, its cost of production allowed me to create this opening price point SKU which does exceptionally well at in-person and e-commerce alike.
It all started with a need to replace an Ikea shade…
We had a pendant hanging cord fixture from IKEA with a small drum shade that broke one day. I wanted a replacement but didn’t like what I found, so I designed my own. This pendant I titled DIAMOND, became a conversation piece among friends and visitors, leading me to develop more.
Testing various permutations of the Diamond pendant lamp as shades, sconces and standalone luminaires.
Paying homage to a masterpiece
With this new tool of 3D Printing and CAD design, I tried my hand at recreating my favorite and unobtainable pieces, like Rougier’s OVOID lamp. Here is my version, with proportions, scales, layout, and details with modern sensibilities. This labor of love has been a popular draw wherever I show it in public, and is now in the galleries of several collectors and museums who also could not obtain a genuine Rougier lamp.
Mini Success
At the suggestion of a customer who loved multiple of my designs, I created these miniature nightlight editions of each. Their success surprised me, at first created as a novelty and an opportunity for craft fair goers to take home a small piece of my design, many customers now purchase a full size lamp or sconce and it’s mini twin, sometimes in multiple quantities.
Also Available Wholesale
For brick and mortar retail stores, I also have available wholesale pricing and ordering terms. Please contact me to receive list sheets.
Bespoke Fixtures
Customers also come to me with unique lighting problems like this underside of a drybar lighting that housed 4 exposed bulbs. I fabricated this custom fixture to diffuse the light.
